Op. Dr. Reşit Burak KAYAN

Op.Dr.Reşit Burak Kayan; After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, he completed the plastic surgery residency at Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital, Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He developed and defended the production phase of his specialty thesis "Smart Footprint and Smart Bed Sheet" and received international patents for these inventions. With this work, he was awarded in the Assistant Clinical Study Contest of the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association.

After practicing at Taiwan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for almost 6 months in microsurgical field he came back to Turkey and implemented the practice of the transplantation of the lymph nodes in regards to the lymphedema treatment with a great success.

He has many speeches in national and international congresses on breast, nose aesthetics and microsurgery. He has participated in many certificate programs in various parts of our country on maxillofacial surgical procedures, laser and filling applications, and hair transplantation.

As a member of the Doctors of the World, he traveled to African countries such as Sudan, Mauritania and Yemen and carried out many cleft lip and palate operations there. He has articles on breast aesthetics, burns, microsurgery and rhinoplasty, which are published in international journals and can be seen in Pubmed.
